I liked the book and had already read it two or three times before the audiobook got released, so I was really looking forward to the audio version.
Dare to Love is the story of Ash, a tattoo-artist, who has been burnt one too many times (last time by an affair with a straight colleague) and Carmen. Carmen, owner of a talent agency who just broke up with her boyfriend, is fully focused on her work and not looking for any type of relationship. Ash and Carmen meet when Carmen's best friend gets a tattoo and the attraction starts....along with doubts, fear, hesitation, push and pull. Awesome secondary characters bring even more color to the story.
Sienna Frances, the narrator, does a wonderful job. She made the characters sound as if they I had imagined they would. Let me do some stereotyping for a moment to describe: Posh-London with its full intonation (Carmen and her friends) vs working-class London and suburbs (Ash and her niece and sister).
I will definitely relisten to Dare to Love!

Great book read by a wonderful narrator

This is a nice story. It seemed a bit slow at some points, on others I felt a piece was missing. But overall I enjoyed it very much and will look for more books by A. L. Brooks
