I wanted to get an initial experience of the mood of this work without getting in amongst the poetic weeds of the full version. Having finished this short but compelling taster, I definitely want to experience the full version with all it's textual detail. A great piece for youths and non-academics who seek to examine one expression of catabasis. Misery tinged with mercy, ironic punishment and regret. Thought-provoking...
