The story is very good, it got great characters, which all feel real, with their own lives and motivations.

The VA is just amazing, i just love her voice.

All in all, a great book for any Cyberpunk fan.

Don’t know how the physical book solves this but in audio I had difficulty following the switching between characters. This required much more attention than usual.
Otherwise, a great story with characters that feel real.

Fast paced and packed story

The atmosphere and especially the voice (original voice of female V from the cyberpunk2077 game) are breathtaking. Cyberpunk fans will be right at home with this book.

The story and the presentation wont be everyone's cup of coffee though.
The end also leaves a lot of questions unanswered which is typical for the genre.

Great addition to the Game

Great story, though I knew the crew was doomed from the start I still couldn't help but root for Zor and Aya.
Amazing how I could recognize the characters by voice even before its stated who has spoken.
Only negative thing is that my conspiracy theory I had is now fucked and there is even more to the whole thing, is this related to the blue eyes thing? Who is Stanley working for? What does Arasaka know about this?
All in all, amazing addition to the cyberpunk 2077 universe.

Cherami made me recognize Characters by voice alone

If you look for a Cyberpunk novel, you won't get disappointed.
I won't spoil anything here. The story makes sense from beginning to end and is thought out well in the lore of the world. If you know the IP, it all makes sense.

That's the keyword though: The story is great for fans, but without knowing anything about the world of CP2077, I can imagine one has its problems with the story, as many things about the world aren't explained at all like who is Arasaka, Militec etc. There are some moments when things get explained like the Blackwall for example and some of the gangs and corpos, but otherwise many crucial infos and details are missing and even simple things like an AV are not described.

Another problem was how the story was read. Cherami Leigh is an absolute wonderful voice actress, it was the main reason I got this audiobook first instead of the paperbook. She made every character sound unique and AI voices were absolutely amazing. But sometimes it was hard for me to understand her audibly, as English isn't my mother tongue. This caused the issue that switches between scenes and characters were not obvious and I often had to rewind because I missed the change of scenes.

If you're a fan of the IP though, I can only recommend it. Having Cherami reading the book as the female voice of V is an absolute bonus. I give the book a shot as well, as it is in German, my native language, which makes for easier understanding.

great plot twists, awesome characters elwich you hope will succeed, but sadly with a rather unsatisfying ending.

Die Geschichte ist reichlich stereotyp und es ist nicht sonderlich klar wozu das Ganze überhaupt gut sein soll. Jeder einzelne Charakter stirbt einen äußerst sinnlosen Tod. Kann man machen wenn das ganze wenigstens etwas transportieren würde. Das ganze fühlt sich eher wie eine Schreibübung in Nihilismus an, die man sich auch sparen könnte. Wenn alles sinnlos ist, hat auch das Schreiben einer Geschichte keinen Sinn.
