Emma Wilder is such a great Narrator if not one the best, but the male part is so bad. When he voices any other people but himself he sounds so weird and unauthentic. You just can‘t listen to him. Fortunately he narrates just a small part of the story.
If it were for Emma Wilder alone, the narrator part of the rating would get 5 stars.

I love Emma Wilder! She is so great, don’t think many people can beat her voice.🫶
The male speaking part (Rudy Sanda), though.. uuufff!! I really can’t believe they keeps those recordings.
So so bad!! Only finished the book because I wanted to complete the sequel and the story was good. But when he read, it was very hard to get through. Sorry.

Die Geschichte selbst ist ganz okay zum Zeitvertreib, während man den Haushalt erledigt.

Die Sprecherin ist auch sehr gut, von ihr ein gesprochene Hörbücher höre ich sehr gern, aks nucgt Muttersprachler. Aber der Sprecher ist echt grausam und extrem übertrieben, beim Stimmenverstellen, für meine Ohren. Sollte es in seinem Umfeld wirklich Frauen oder Männer geben die mit solchen Stimmen sprechen und diese Tonlagen haben bleibt man doch lieber zu Hause und schließt sich ein.
