Boss of Me is the story of a young boy who discovers what it means to become a successful entrepreneur. Author Ken Brown tells the story of fourth-grader Joey, who, with the help of his father, schoolmates, and neighborhood friends, discovers how to overcome uncertainty about himself and his future. In the process, Joey learns the ins and outs of running a business and what success really means.
One school day, Joey is assigned a presentation for Career Day. While all the other students seem to already know what they want to be, Joey has no idea what he wants to be when he grows up. He looks for guidance from his father, who owns his own business, to help him understand his potential. Joey's journey takes him from confusion and self-doubt to clarity and his own measure of success, all the while learning about important business terms and processes.
