die Handlung ist durch viele Schauplatzwechsel nur schwer zu verfolgen und teilweise verwirrend. Zum Ende hin wird das Szenario immer unrealistischer und unglaubwürdiger. Dennoch spannende Szenen.

Ich habe schon viel von diesem Autor gelesen oder gehört, so lud ich das Hörbuch fast schon automatisch herunter. Bald war ich von der Handlung gefesselt. Klar, alles ist im Bereich der Fikition angesiedelt, aber die Idee die dahintersteckt ist interessant. Auch nachdem ich es zu Ende gehört hatte, musste ich noch oft über diesen seltsamen Thriller nachdenken. Vielleicht ist "Blasphemy" Prestons bestes Buch als Einzelautor.

Ich habe mich durch das Hörbuch wirklich durchgekämpft. Die Story fand ich nicht fesselnd und der religiöse Fanatismus ist mir auf den Geist gegangen. Spannend war es für mich gar nicht. Positiv war lediglich der Sprecher, der auch für Nichtmuttersprachler sehr gut zu verstehen ist. Alles in allem von mir keine Empfehlung.
