Ich verstehe nicht, warum "Black Leopard, Red Wolf" als "afrikanisches Game of Thrones" angepriesen worden ist. Das ist der Roman nicht, das ist ein dummer Vergleich, weil es ganz andere Erwartungen entstehen lässt, die dieses Buch nie erfüllen kann. Ich habe nicht nur das Hörbuch, sondern auch Buch und Ebook, ich habe mir alles reingezogen, weil ich so fasziniert war, weil ich so hineingezogen worden bin in diese irre Geschichte, die so viele Bilder in mir ausgelöst hat, dass ich manchmal fast nach Luft schnappen musste. Mir ist auch klar, dass das Geschmackssache ist, auch die exzessiven Gewaltdarstellungen muss man nicht gut gutfinden ... Für mich trotzdem eins der besten Bücher, die ich in den letzten zehn, fünfzehn Jahren gelesen habe. Vielleicht erst mal reinhören oder reinlesen ... Ich liebe den Sprecher, auch wenn er kurzzeitig mal wie der unsägliche Bran in der Serie Game of Thrones klingt :)
