Inhaltsangabe

We are constantly bombarded with inaccurate, contradictory and sometimes misleading information - until now.

Ben Goldacre masterfully dismantles the dubious science behind some of the great drug trials, court cases, and missed opportunities of our time. He also shows us the fascinating story of how we know what we know, and gives us the tools to uncover bad science for ourselves.

Funny with an important message

Was hat Ihnen das Hörerlebnis von Bad Science besonders unterhaltsam gemacht?

Ben Goldacre has an important message (that we are often mislead by sciency sounding stories about medicine) and tells it in a very funny way. Anyone who wanted to be able to understand what is behind alternative medicine, homeopathy, but also big pharma should check out this book, and will learn a new way of viewing these issues.

This is on of the most extrodanary works today!!!

I dare not summon, but I heard it quit critically and could not find any flaws worth mentioning. Everything comes together, methods, not petronising, usefull information and the best introduction to the tricks and problems science has and people how are waaay more flawt misuse. You have to give it a go. If you dont like it give back, but I assume this will not happen. But if you do not give it a go, that might be one of the worst decissions of yours for a long time.
