- Teresa signed the trail register at Winden Lake at 7:52 AM on September 10 and her green Tacoma remained in the trailhead parking lot for over fifty hours.
- Heather Bauer photographed a single right-foot boot print on bare granite at 8,200 feet on the morning of September 14 after taking eleven shots.
- The boot print pointed straight at a vertical rock face sixty feet tall with no crack, no ledge, and no other prints before or after.
- Two trailing dogs, bloodhound Pepper and Belgian Malinois Colt, each sat down on the same granite shelf indicating concentrated human scent despite smooth, dry stone and no visible disturbance.
- A helicopter from Ridgecrest Aviation conducted two grid-pattern passes with thermal scanning above the tree line and detected nothing visually or thermally in the basin.
