I tried to enter data into a Google Sheet. It wouldn't cooperate. I got mad. And then I got a little too introspective about what that said about me as a person. This episode is about the moment I realized I was blaming myself for something that was just... a glitchy spreadsheet. Sound familiar? Yeah. We need to talk.
THIS EPISODE'S KICK IN THE TUSH MOMENT:
Not everything is your fault. Not every obstacle is a sign. Not every frustrating situation is the universe telling you that you're doing it wrong. Sometimes Google Sheets is just being a little jerk. The next time you catch yourself spiraling into "what did I do wrong", stop and ask if this is actually about you at all. Spoiler: it probably isn't. And yes, anger is sometimes the completely appropriate response — especially when technology is gaslighting you.
