Module 8 brings the whole programme together and looks at what comes next — for you, your child, and your relationship. By this point, you’ve understood your own emotional landscape, strengthened communication, set realistic boundaries, and supported your child through difficult moments. This final module focuses on sustaining that progress while preparing for the future.
We explore how to look after yourself in the long term, how to recognise and prevent burnout, and how to maintain a sense of balance even when challenges continue. You’ll learn how to reconnect with parts of yourself that may have been lost in the stress of supporting your child, and how to build a support system that keeps you steady.
We also look at strengthening your relationship beyond the struggles — rediscovering moments of connection, spending time together without an agenda, and seeing your child as more than their difficulties. Finally, we talk about helping them move toward greater independence, what to expect as they grow, and how to stay connected without taking over.
By the end of this module, you’ll have a clearer sense of direction, renewed confidence in your role as a parent, and a foundation you and your child can build on moving forward.
