Eleven-year-old Mickey isn’t your average sixth grader. While his peers are mastering video games, Mickey is a Junior Recruit for a high-level government Agency, trained in encryption, surveillance, and the art of staying invisible. But his latest assignment is his most dangerous yet: Camp Pinewood.

Sent undercover to investigate a series of high-tech thefts, Mickey must swap his tactical gear for a flannel shirt and a bottle of extra-strength mosquito repellent. His mission is simple: find a stolen microchip hidden somewhere within the camp’s three hundred acres of wilderness. The problem? His primary suspect is the terrifying Head Counselor, Silas, and his only “partner” is a clumsy, marshmallow-obsessed camper named Toby.

As the forest floor turns into a battlefield of high-tech gadgets and low-tech traps, Mickey realizes that the “Legend of the Whispering Woods” is a cover for something far more sinister. Between sabotaging drone launches at the campfire and leading guards on a wild chase with a tracker-wearing slug, Mickey has to decide: can he remain a “lone wolf” agent, or will it take a real team to save the summer?
