A Dense Fog Advisory covers much of the state until 11 A.M., with visibility down to a quarter mile or less in spots. Take it easy on the roads this morning. In the next 24 hours. Yesterday's rain left the ground saturated. And now we've got more on the way. A Flood Warning is active for Athens. Gallia. Jackson. Meigs. Vinton. And Washington counties until 1:30 P.M. A Flood Watch covers much of southern Ohio through early afternoon. Central Ohio sits at 57 degrees today with light rain and fog. Rain picks up tonight with thunderstorms possible. Thursday brings another soaking — up to an inch of rain with a high of 67 degrees. Northeast Ohio is cooler and foggier. Areas of dense fog linger through late morning. Highs reach just 49 degrees today. Rain moves in tonight and continues Thursday with a high of 58. Down in Southwest Ohio, it's the wettest and warmest. Highs near 63 degrees with rain and thunderstorms. Some spots could see one to two inches today alone. Thursday climbs to 69 with more heavy rain. These temperatures are running 39 degrees to 39 degrees above normal for early March. Enjoy the warmth. But keep the umbrella handy. The five-day outlook stays soggy. Rain chances continue through Saturday with highs in the upper 60s to mid 70s. A cold front Saturday night finally clears us out. Sunday looks dry with highs in the low 60s. Tonight's full moon won't be easy to spot through the clouds. But we're gaining nearly three minutes of daylight each day now. Spring equinox is just two weeks away.
