Good evening. New Jersey. I'm Aaron Jolly. That dusting of snow yesterday? Already a memory. But step outside right now and you'll notice something else. The air feels heavy, damp, almost tropical compared to 24 hours ago. We're sitting at 38 degrees under gray skies. And rain moves through overnight. In the next 24 hours. Here's how today plays out across the Garden State. North Jersey wakes to patchy fog and temperatures near 34 degrees. That fog lifts by mid-morning, giving way to partly sunny skies and a high of 49 degrees. Central Jersey starts damp too, but warms to 54 degrees this afternoon — the mildest spot in the state. Down in South Jersey, that fog hangs tougher. Rain chances linger through 7 A.M., with highs near 50 degrees. Tonight, the full moon rises. Though good luck seeing it through the clouds. Lows settle in the upper 30s statewide. Thursday tells a wetter story. Rain spreads across all of New Jersey by morning and sticks around through Friday. We're talking a solid soaker — potentially three-quarters of an inch to an inch of rain. North Jersey sees the steadiest rain Thursday night. But here's the twist. By Saturday, temperatures climb into the upper 50s and 60s. Sunday? Low 60s. Monday and Tuesday? We could hit 65 to 69 degrees. That's nearly 70 degrees in early March — about 34 degrees to 34 degrees above normal. Spring is knocking. Sixteen days until the equinox. And this weekend? It might just answer the door. For the extended outlook, check the latest forecast as confidence improves. That's your forecast — we'll be back tomorrow.
