Good evening. Ohio. I'm Aaron Jolly. Folks, there's a stationary front camped out along the Ohio River Valley right now. It's acting like a conveyor belt, pulling moisture northward that has no business being here in early March. The air is absolutely saturated. And that means rain. A lot of it. In the next 24 hours. Southwest Ohio feels it first. Cincinnati and Dayton, rain rolls in by 8 P.M. and hits its stride around 10 P.M. We're talking one to two inches possible. A Flood Warning is already up for Mill Creek at Evendale through Wednesday afternoon. If you see standing water on the road, turn around. Every single time. Slide up I-71 to Columbus and central Ohio. Rain spreads into your evening with near certainty by 7 P.M. Expect another half to three quarters of an inch. Lows only drop to 44 degrees. That damp, clingy kind of night where your windshield never fully clears. Northeast Ohio, you dodge the worst of it early. Just a slight rain chance around 8 P.M. but patchy fog creeps in overnight as temps settle near 35 degrees. The real rain waits until Wednesday afternoon. Wednesday stays wet everywhere. Columbus reaches 57 degrees. Cincinnati pushes 64. Cleveland lags at 49. Thunderstorms join the party by afternoon. Now the week ahead gets interesting. That front lifts north Wednesday night and warmth pours in behind it. Thursday brings more rain and highs near 70 degrees. Friday. Southwest Ohio could flirt with the upper 70s. In March. Let that sink in. Saturday delivers another round of storms, potentially strong ones, before things finally dry out Sunday with highs settling back into the 60s. Spring equinox is two weeks away, but this week didn't get the memo. Keep those storm drains clear tonight. Leaves and debris cause more flooding than the rain itself. For the extended outlook, check the latest forecast as confidence improves. That's your forecast — we'll be back tomorrow.
