Second Peter ends with a reminder that changes everything: Jesus is coming back.

After warning about false teachers in chapter 2, Peter closes the letter by lifting our eyes to the return of Christ. Scoffers will question the promise. They will forget creation. “Lord, since you are coming back, what do you want me to do today?”

Ask it sincerely.

Then live your day—your work, your relationships, your conversations—in a way that would make you glad to see Jesus return at any moment.

Grow in maturity. Stay anchored in Scripture. Refuse to drift.

And live with the quiet confidence that when he comes, you can say:

“I’m glad you’re here.”
