Bible Text: Revelation 22:12 NKJV
12. And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work.
INSPIRATION: When Jesus says, "Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming" (Matt. 24: 42), you need to take it more seriously. It is the inability to anticipate divine visits that robs us of the glory that comes with such moments. Once we become insensitive, we get carried away with the pursuit of other activities that could choke the life of our spiritual consciousness. In such moments when we let down our guards, we miss His coming.
Christ is coming soon. It doesn't matter what your personal biases are about this statement; it doesn't matter how long you've heard these statements, believed it for long but yet to see its reality. It would happen when you least expected it to, and it might be too late then if you fail to take heed now. Blessed is he who's not offended in Christ for these sayings. To this end, your concerns should be: what rewards am I due for at His return based on what I've done? Think critically on this!

How prepared are you for His visitation or return? What are the proofs of your preparation?
PRAYER: Dear Lord, please help me to set my heart in order for Your visitation, and more importantly, Your return. I refuse to allow the cares of this life deprive me the glories of Your visitation and rewards of Your return. My lamp is always trimmed and oiled as I wait earnestly, in Jesus name.
