 Neal grew up in the country, where the outdoors wasn’t a pastime, it was home. He spent so many hours roaming the woods and watching wildlife that his mom finally hung a bell outside the house, just so she could call him back before dark.
From an early age, Neal became fascinated by the patterns of the forest. How animals move, how they feed, how they react to one another, and how the whole system seems to communicate without words. Over time, he realized something that most people never notice: the woods are never truly quiet. Birds, squirrels, deer and everything else has a language. Their calls aren’t random; they’re messages. Neal began studying those sounds so closely that he could eventually close his eyes and still “read” what was happening around him, simply by listening.
Even as a kid, Neal occasionally saw things in the woods that didn’t fit what he knew about the animals in his area, strange signs and moments that didn’t have an easy explanation. As he got older, he heard stories of cryptids and the unknown. He figured there might be a chance Bigfoot existed somewhere far away. On the Pacific Coast, in Alaska, or deep in Canada. But he never imagined anything like that could be close to home. Then life set the stage for something he never expected.
Neal and his wife purchased a house and property that had been sitting vacant for eight to ten years it had two beautiful streams, hardwoods everywhere, the kind of place that should have been an oasis for deer and wildlife. But something felt off. Despite the perfect habitat, there were surprisingly few animals. Neal did what he’s always done: he went to work restoring balance. He planted crops he knew would draw wildlife in, not to hunt, but to observe nature in its pure, natural beauty.
At Christmas in 2019, his children gave him a plywood cutout of a Bigfoot. Neal placed it near the trees off the back porch as a fun decoration, nothing more. And then came the whistles. Then a slap on the house. And then the moment that changed everything. By 2020, Neal realized he wasn’t just living near wildlife… he was sharing the land with something most people say doesn’t exist. What followed wasn’t a single sighting or a fleeting encounter, it was the beginning of an ongoing, deeply personal journey. As time passed, Neal and his family experienced patterns, interactions, and unmistakable signs and sightings that led them to a stunning conclusion: a Bigfoot family was present on their property. Even more unbelievable was that over time a relationship began to form. Not based on fantasy or fear, but on trust, patience, and respect. Since then, Neal has immersed himself in learning everything he can about these mysterious beings and the world they move through. What started as curiosity became a life altering adventure into a reality that challenges everything we think we know about the forest. Because to Neal, this isn’t a legend. It’s real. And now, he’s inviting you to step into the mystery, into the patterns, the signals, the encounters, and the lessons the woods have been quietly teaching him all along.
