Über diesen Titel
Our speaker today is Jack Haye President of Patrick Henry College. He speaks on quite a few Psalms and how over the past few years and months he's thought a lot about them. The big one in this talk is Psalm 63. How he finds a lot of earthiness in them. How they represent the highs and lows that real people experience and people who come before the Lord with praise and adoration, but also with confusion and questions and sometimes even complaints. But even the ones where the psalmist starts out that way, you find somewhere toward the bottom, it normally begins to unwind a bit and them turning toward God's sovereignty. And as the writer's heart and mind are tuned more to God's power and goodness rather than the urgency of their own situation.
If you want to learn more about a relationship with Jesus we recommend a book titled "Mere Christianity" by C.S. Lewis, or "The Case for Christ" by Lee Strobel if you are questioning what this whole "Christian" thing is all about, or you can reach out to us at https://www.holyspiritleesburg.org/ . We'd love to connect and chat with you.
