Here’s a short mini-lesson. Today we talk about one topic everyone is talking about in Poland now:

👉 Pogoda. Jest zimno.

Jest zimno. Dzisiaj jest minus sześć stopni.

It’s cold. Today it’s minus six degrees.

• jest = it is

• zimno = cold

• minus sześć = minus six

• stopni = degrees

Ale jutro? Jutro będzie minus dziesięć stopni.

But tomorrow? Tomorrow it will be minus ten degrees.

• jutro = tomorrow

• będzie = will be

A jaka jest pogoda w Tallinie, w Estonii? Tam też jest zimno. Jest minus dziesięć stopni, a jutro będzie minus szesnaście.

And what’s the weather like in Tallinn, Estonia? It’s cold there too. It’s minus ten degrees, and tomorrow minus sixteen.

A jaka jest pogoda w Szwecji? Też jest zimno. Minus siedem stopni. A jutro minus osiem.

And what’s the weather like in Sweden? It’s cold too. Minus seven degrees. Tomorrow minus eight.

A Irlandia? W Irlandii jest ciepło. Sześć stopni. Jutro będzie pięć stopni.

W Anglii też jest ciepło. Pięć stopni.

And Ireland? In Ireland it’s warm. Six degrees. Tomorrow five degrees.

In England it’s also warm. Five degrees.

A Zimbabwe? W Harare jest teraz dwadzieścia osiem stopni. Tam jest lato.

And Zimbabwe? In Harare it’s twenty-eight degrees now. It’s summer there.

A w Polsce? W Polsce teraz jest minus sześć stopni. Jest zimno.

And in Poland? In Poland it’s minus six degrees now. It’s cold.
