Über diesen Titel
Eunice Cho is senior counsel at the ACLU National Prison Project. She's a nationally recognized expert and litigator on issues pertaining to immigration detention, including access to counsel. She has served as lead and co-counsel in numerous cases to protect the rights of immigrant detainees, including people held at the cruelly named Alligator Alcatraz detention facility and the Guantanamo Naval Base.
She recently co-authored a letter to ICE describing the conditions of pregnant women in detention describing violation of protocol and human rights abuses.
On the podcast she discusses the current state of immigrant detention and her concerns about the escalation of new detention facilities and the decreasing state of care for detainees.
