During most of Brother Townsend's ministry that I am personally acquainted with, he was heavily involved with and a strong supporter of the radio ministry, on both sides of the glass, DJ and Preacher. This telescoped broadcast, is from February 7, 1973, from his early days as Pastor of Lawsonville Road Baptist Church of Reidsville, NC. WWMO was a Gospel blowtorch in the NC Piedmont, licensed to Reidsville at 102.1 FM and was often imitated and never duplicated, during it's approximate twenty-two year hayday and beyond. Brother Townsend's associates on this broadcast include the late Brother James Denny, Larry Lucas and (I believe) Rob Compton, along with others unheard but nonetheless important. Be blessed by tuning in and going back in time. Speaking of going back in time, in those days, the station signed off at 11 and for us radio fans, I included as much as I have of that, too.
Philippians 4:6-7 KJB: 6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
