Politics in Africa and the rest of the world is largely dominated by men. Only a few women have dared to challenge the status quo, much less run for the highest office in the land.
Khadijah Okunnu-Lamidi ventured to change this narrative in her homeland Nigeria by throwing her hat into the ring for the 2023 Nigerian presidential elections. It was a bold move which challenged the establishment.
