We've been big fans of her online content where she unpacks and educates about the harms of Abrahamic religions (particularly Islam, the religion she grew up with) and are so thrilled we got to sit down with her and pick her brain. We learn about the origins of the hijab and how it's rooted in male entitlement and ownership, her deconstruction story, how to harness your own power and trust your own judgement, and to leave the guilt and shame behind that society and religions just loves to instill in us, particularly as women.
