It’s our last episode before Christmas and things are feeling very festive.

In this end-of-year catch-up, we’re recording from unusual locations, wearing questionable festive headwear, and reflecting on what has been a huge first year of The Becky Sessions. We chat about nativity plays, school schedules, Christmas overwhelm, and the mental load of juggling editing, motherhood and work in December.

We also dive into some honest business talk: handling enquiries without bookings, imposter syndrome, pricing confidence, asking for reviews, and the emotional weight of working so closely with couples. Plus, reflections on community, creative careers, going full-time, and why this job — despite being hard — is still pretty magical.
