Bones and Temperance take an extremely self-destructive path which leads to extreme measures and even extreme (self-)punishment.
Bones is obsessed with Temperance, extremely smart, and a true alpha male. Temperance, on the other hand, takes an extremely traumatic path that changes her life forever. But amidst all the blood and violence, there are also some lighter moments, even if they're tinged with a bitter tinge of satisfaction. And the best part is that these strong MC brothers aren't infallible and Himera Ink has already started stoking the individual hellfire for one or the other. I'm really excited to see what happens next.

Their chemistry is raw, the danger feels real, and the emotional tension is on another level. When he brands her “traitor,” believing she infiltrated his club, my heart actually dropped — the twist hits hard because Himera Ink writes with such visceral intensity.
What I love most is the heroine’s transformation. She’s not just surviving — she’s evolving. Becoming stronger, sharper, and more resilient with every chapter.
And the hero’s arc? The regret, the searching, the years of obsession, the grovel… it all feels earned, not rushed or cliché.
The writing is addictive, atmospheric, and emotionally honest. The world feels gritty and immersive, and the narration brings out every bit of tension and vulnerability.
If you enjoy dark romance with MC elements, morally grey characters, emotional trauma done right, and a love story that burns slow but deep — give this audiobook a chance.
