The duke's daughter

this is another banger from Sam hall. honestly one of my favourite authors!! it's a slow burn, but worth it

Die Sprecher waren gut, beim Wechsel in die unterschiedlichen Personen hatte ich jedoch große Probleme. Nur den Akzent zu wechseln genügt nicht. Die Geschichte war leider Nix für mich, habe es bis zur Hälfte geschafft.

The characters and their relationship annoyed me so much... The FMC always talks about wanting to be free and make her own decisions, but never actually does anything. She just goes with whatever anyone is "forcing" her to do. You don't get a clear picture of the love interests, they are very demanding, despite claiming that they respect women, they always know best and want to have it their way? Half way through the book I gave up...
