I enjoyed the book very much, it has a lot of heart. The narrator's voice and intonation were also very suitable for the whole atmosphere.

The voice of the narrator is just perfect for the story. It is strange to think it was written 32 years ago. With the the way the world is now, it could have been written yesterday.

Never read a book so dark while so enlightening. In these times (even though we haven’t hit bottom yet and I am grateful for everything), it is a good reminder that sci-fi is a warning, not a manual; However, also already there.. God is Change.

the book presents a grim reminder that our civilization is more brittle than we like to admit. The narrator does an amazing job of projecting the feelings of the characters. Recommended!
