Excellent combination of theory and practice

Everything written in this book is based on science. Most of the things you will read are not necessarily new but it's explained differently and really well summed up. Also there are a lot of tips to build habits with very detailed tutorials and examples.
Right now I am thinking this might be the best book I've ever read about this topic.
Very well done and clearly a reading recommendation for everyone.

wenn jemand am Anfang steht neue Gewohnheiten zu entwickeln sicher hilfreich. Ansonstenonst wenig Neues. The Power of Habits geht genauer auf die dahinterliegenden Neuronalen Prozesse ein. Ich würde dieses hier eher für Einsteiger empfehlen

good audiobook - but maybe better In print

I quite enjoyed listening to this audiobook! it has proven very insightful about the topic of habit creation and sustention. nevertheless as it gives a lot of suggestions for self practice, I believe that a printed version would make it easier working on one's self and implementing the schemas described in the book

Loved it

A lot of good advice here explained in an interesting and thoughtful way. Really enjoyed this and I’m going to listen to it again but with pen and paper to hand to take some notes.

Like car batteries. simple concepts. Big Changes.

I liked the book. Very good analogies and examples to really get better at living efficiently. We are all lazy and we learn to be even lazier :D

Exceptional content, better print version

Everyone should read this book. Its great how practical it is. But I dislike some things in the audio book:
- there are tons of very good pictures in the book, which help to internalize the content. You can download the pictures, but its hard to keep track which picture comes when.
- the reader is very fast and you barely have time to let the ideas sink in. I needed to listen in 0,75 and it the reader sounds a little drunk that way.

But if you struggle to read a book and are more of a listener don't force yourself to read just for cool images, instead get this audiobook. Number 1 priority is getting through this amazing content and if audio is easier for you, so be it :)

die im Buch erwähnten Links für die Materialien leider nicht mehr aktuell sind. :(
