Das Hörbuch war spannend, unterhaltsam und gut gesprochen. Der Sprecher war gut zu verstehen und hat es gut dargestellt.

what is the point of this book?
how does it fit in the horus heresy main story line?
why does it come right after fear to tread?

You miss absolutely nothing by skipping this book.
Fulgrim uses Perti to ascend to deamonhood and other than that, the only callback to this book is in the beginning of the Siege of Terra where it is stated that Perturabo is slowly dying as the result of the happenings of Angel Exterminatus but this doesn't play a role 5 minutes later either anyway..

It also doesn't help that Graham McNeill's Perturabo is a complete 180 from Guy Haley's (the writer of the perturabo Primarch novel) Perturabo - two entirely different characters. Different authors clearly didn't have a throughline on how to write his character, a trend which continues right until the late siege of terra books
