This audiobook is absolutely delightful, touching and full of comforting thoughts based on God's own letter to us, the Bible. Its very personal style brings the thoughts straight where they belong: into the mind and heart of the listener.Welcher Moment von Abba Calling ist Ihnen besonders im Gedächtnis geblieben?
I just have to say that each and every chapter is my favourite!Wie hat Ihnen Chris Thom als Sprecher gefallen? Warum?
And a huge big praise for the speaker, Chris Tom: I just can't imagine any other speaker for this book! He reads with real heartfelt commitment and with such a natural, warm emphasis that he keeps me hooked on every word (I usually have the tendency to fall asleep listening to audiobooks, but this doesn't happen with this book that easily...)Was wäre für andere Hörer sonst noch hilfreich zu wissen, um das Hörbuch richtig einschätzen zu können?
If you love devotionals, this one is highly recommendable. The only small downside: Bible verses that preceed every chapter, are not read out but only titled. However, this shouldn't discourage one from opening the Bibel itself - it might get us even into action :). I personally also own the book, so I do look up the verses in my Bible as I read along. I reserve the audiobook for the times I feel like hearing a pleasant, warm voice sharing soothing, uplifting thoughts with me...Words of Comfort
