Über diesen Titel
Ones Life is Anchored by the Weight of Ones Soul. Alexander Keyes, the founder of the non-profit foundation, Keyes’s Forgotten Children of Suffering, is used to bleeding those of wealth into giving over generously to such a worthy cause. During a fundraising presentation in Portland, Maine. He learns of accusations thrown against his foundation, which threaten to destroy all he has built. Later that night he learns these accusations to be founded in truth. His mind races how to find a way out of this before the demons of his past call on him to collect their due. To make matters more stressful, his family has tagged along on this trip through New England with plans on taking a side trek to visit with his in-laws.
The Keyes family travels along a scenic mountain road cutting across Maine's natural splendor. Having to make a stop for gas, Alexander hears of a short cut down a road few travelers take and even fewer make it back. On taking the supposed short cut the Keyes family suffers an auto accident, leaving them stranded. Heading out on foot, Alexander leaves in search of finding some kind of help.
What he finds instead is an intoxicating vixen holding a large fortune and an average looking man with plans all of his own. Unbeknownst to Alexander these plans include him at their center.
Can Alexander fight these unnatural temptations set before him? Will his darker self condemn him completely? These are the questions of life posed to every man, though how they are answered varies by the weight of ones soul.
