Fame is not always glorious...

...sometimes it simply hurts.

Will she find someone to heal her pain?

Jessie’s career on TV and stage made her life seem idyllic. Evenings spent in her boyfriend’s club, surrounded by people who adore her, should have made her happy. There was just one problem - she didn’t love him.

How can one be lonely in a crowd?

Josh has had a hard life. He’s never caught a break. A lifetime of hiding from the pain has been no way to live. He needs someone who can bring him into the light.

Then they met outside the club for the first time.

What was it about her that was so intoxicating?

For Jessie and Josh, it won’t be easy. The cast of Drifters is like a family and everybody wants their say. When Jessie’s past catches up with her, her world spins out of control. Will they be able to survive?

Will love find a way?

You’ll adore this roller coaster of a romance, because it’s easy to root for two people trying to find hope in each other.

Get it now.

I wanted to bear with the audio through to the end. There are so many well formulated, insightful, thoughtthrough, interesting sentences. This author knows the human condition - and ruins her brilliant penmanship by performing her book herself. She rattles through her story at high speed, making it impossible for the listener to grasp those beautiful formulations. They're like shooting stars, whoosh and gone. Wait, what was that, rewind, come again, rewind.... Sad, just sad. This book needs to be read, not listened to.

Promising Penmanship Ruined by Narration
