This brief introduction to Irish Gaelic focuses on the basics of the language including understanding simple conversations, learning key vocabulary and introductory grammar. The course includes 6 sessions and a review module. You will build an understanding of core Irish Gaelic words and phrases such as greetings and introductions, frequently used words, numbers and colors and simple sentences and conversations. At the conclusion of the course you will have a basic understanding of Irish Gaelic at the A1-A2 level of speaking and comprehension. This is an ideal way to begin learning Irish Gaelic, multiple accents are used throughout the course to improve your comprehension as well as situational conversations to make for realistic learning and application of the language. The sessions do move fairly fast, though all words and conversations are repeated. This may seem unnerving at first, but with repeated listening and engagement with the material, you will pick up Irish Gaelic faster than you realize as you process the material across the sessions. This is an ideal way to begin learning Irish Gaelic for English speakers.
