Loved the characters! The heroine, Ledi, is a black graduate student in epidemiology. She is smart and cares about her work and not just the flashing hero (aka, the spoiled prince turned smitten gentleman from Africa). Great chemistry between the two and some funny and smart dialogue plus steamy and sweet romantic scenes. Also interesting relationship between Ledi and her best friend Portia (heroine of the second book). Unfortunately it just felt as if after about 2/3 of the book, the story was rushed to finish and things got unrealistic. Not just fluffy, which is fine, but ridiculous (like Ledi finding a cure to an epidemic where the team of experts from this technologically super advanced country who worked on it for months did not? Umpf). Didn't find the (happy ending) turn in the end convincing either. Because of that I give only 3.5 stars. Quite fun entertainment to clean your kitchen, great characters! but there are better romantic comedies in terms of plot.
