As the months go by, Martine endears herself to both Nico’s sisters, while finding her way into Gloria’s heart. I’m British so found the accent a bit abrasive to begin with but this book is set in NYC so of course there is an an American accent. The narrator does a fantastic job and I was riveted as this book snatched me into that house.

When will the progressive west finally wake up and see that our protective laws are being used against us by NGOs and leftie lawyers to enable invaders who want to take our hard end privileges and use the laws (and pearl clutching outrage) against us. Man the borders and keep the invaders out before it is too late.

I couldn’t put this book down once I had started.
