I think I listen to this book for 4 or 5 times by now and I absolutely love it. It’s my favorite story by ULG and the narration is just perfect. It’s not only the different characters that the performer is able to portray, it’s also the atmosphere that he evokes, which is one of the most difficult things for a narrator, I think. I cannot recommend this book enough.

My favorite audiobook

I cannot believe this is a story from the 1960s. Over 50 years later it is possibly even more relevant and powerful. Sometimes I dare wonder how relevant it will be in another 50 years.
