due to the booktok hype I was pretty excited for this one and narrated by one of my faves but....
there is no depth to the characters, no real story. dont get me wrong I'm a dark romance girly through and through, nothing is too smutty.... but a little plot is needed. I dont know how to sum up the story because there was none. I dont know why they fell in love you get no intell. they just see each other or in this case hear each other and there practically in love. I'm not a person of any faith but the aspect that he is one was only for the struggle that he cannt be with a woman. no other aspects of the faith etc was part of the story. than again there was none. if the smut would have been smutting it might have made it worth it but not even my beloved Jacob could save this read for me. I almost DNFed...
such a pitty it had so much potential.....

The story was a little plain but great nonetheless. And listening to Jacob Morgan’s voice almost the whole story made it so much better. Five stars for that.

It had Potential. But it was very sex and religion focused. No depth to the story really, I couldn’t see the romantic connection. I had to roll my eyes sometimes. Great narrators thou.

The readers are both amazing but I have to say the main narrator is absolutely breathtaking. I was specifically recommended this book as an audio book because of his reading style and I certainly get why.

Love story is a bit of a stretch since the connection is very, very physical. It is an entertaining listen and the spice scenes deliver in originality and hotness factor. The story made me laugh a few times although it was not funny. The characters did a lot of rationalising to work their actions into their catholic faith which I found hilarious.
