I love all the books in this series. This one was from a different angle, but it was refreshing. I really would love to hear/read more about Ex and Meridian, as their past and possible future story is most likely going to be amazing.

The most badass book in the Nothing Special series. Ex and Meridian are a force to be reckoned with, a force you don't ever see coming until it is to late. The bad guys angered the wrong person's.

I don't get all these 5star reviews. It's getting old that Via uses the same old patterns in every book of the series. Two very rough, tough, butch and deadly guys with secret feelings for each other. Okay. you can do that. But these two are once more a decal, a copy of God&Day and Green&Rox. Same behavior, same manner of speech, even kind of the same sentences. And then again: one man caught deep in his sleep and having nightmares and the other one taking advantage of the situation. Obviously this pattern helps selling the books, but I got tired pretty quickly.
And why does this God person always have to have a prominent role? I get it that Via adores her own invention of an extremely sexy badass cop, but she should let him go take a backseat and let the real MCs in each book take the lead. And now that we all know how G&D like to fck in full detail, she wouldn't have had to describe it again and again like a how to manual. She seems pretty obsessed with fully and overly detailed descriptions of sex though and doesn't want to leave anything to the readers own fantasy. That's sad, because the best sxscenes are often the ones that are written between the lines.
IMO it's not the hottest book as some people described it in their reviews.
