Raf never knew he needed a Daddy until he meets Daddy Brendan....

Adulting is hard for Raf. After a less than ideal youth, he’d hoped to find where he belongs. But despite trying several things in the club his best friend frequents, nothing clicks for him.

Until he meets Daddy Brendan, the perfect bear of a man with the gentle voice, the soft cuddles, and an appendage Raf is rather fascinated by.

Daddy Brendan wants to take care of Raf in every way, and Raf quickly discovered he loves being Daddy Brendan’s baby boy. He’s finally found where he belongs. If only he could forget about his past and be truly happy....

Gentle Hand is a daddy kink MM romance with age play and ABDL. Please note trigger warnings for mild homophobia, parental mistreatment, and depression. It’s the second book in the Perfect Hands series, but can be enjoyed as a stand-alone.

This is such a beautiful heart warming story. I just love Raf, he is such a sweet loving character and he so much deserved his HEA. Totally recommended great narration.

Raf's childhood and youth weren't good, which led to many problems for him. Thanks to his friend Rhys he surved that time.
After meeting and finding his footing with Daddy Brendan their lives change.
Seeing how their relationship and trust evolves makes this story very touching.
The narration is great.

So much love and healing

Unfortunately, there was an unresolved situation concerning a little child and thei8r gender identity that was not even attempted to resolve in any way, shape or form. Frankly, I feel like it was just used as a plot device, which hit incredibly hard. This child very clearly stated she was a girl, but her parents insisted on her being a boy and being treated as such (which is bullshit in and of itself). The whole situation, but especially the reaction of the principal, really hit hard. Once again I am glad I don't live in America, because I work with children the same age and I know that things would turn out differently here, especially since laws are different. The situation was infuriating and nauseating (as in, I actually felt sicker the more I listened without the dilemma ever being touched on again). I get that the focus was supposed to be on the mental wellbeing of the main character, but creating a loveable child character who is being hurt purely as a plot device and then having everyone just ignore their existance, felt more than wrong. I could talk about all the things I disliked about that whole thing for hours, but it's not going to make me feel any better, so I'll just leave it at this: This is a trigger warning. If gender identity and/or the mental wellbeing of children is a sensitive subject for you, you might want to skip this one. I certainly regret listening.
I'd like to give minus stars for this situation, but the rest of the story was sweet as usual (as far as I could tell besides my reaction to the aforementioned problem), so two stars it is. Kenneth Obi is doing a good job as usual.
