I hope we haven't heard the last of Ondry and Liam

This is why I can't get enough of this series. Every book touches on a particular subject, might it be human psychology, trauma, behavior in general, expectations. This one is heavy on communication and perception. I love the message of how communication is essential in any good relationship and that oftentimes we have to jump over our shadows and risk hurting in order to be happy. We tend to live in our heads and think we know reality, when really we simply cannot know what triggers another. And not even Ondry is immune to insecurity and fear. How he handled his insecurity though was commendable.

The predictability of that answer almost made Liam laugh. "
