Ich hatte mir das Hörbuch gekauft, um Englisch zu üben. Daher sollte der Inhalt nicht zu komplex sein. Dafür war es perfekt.
Ich habe über die Protganistin sehr gelacht, da es sehr lustig erzählt wird. Den Protagonisten habe ich nicht so gut verstanden, er nuschelt und ich fande die Stimme auch nicht passend. Am Ende wird das Hörbuch etwas ernster und habe es als zu vorausschauend empfunden. Trotzdem ein empfehlenswertes Hörbuch.

Die Geschichte ist zum Dahinschwelgen und -schmelzen. Einfach fantastisch. Maxine Mitchell hat eine tolle Stimme und ein großes Stimmenrepertoire. Es macht richtig Spaß ihr zuzuhören. Und Joe Arden hat einfach eine so schöne männliche Stimme und Akzent. Und die Geschichte von Vi Keeland ist wie immer toll. Herzschmerz und viel Liebe. Nach so einem Hörbuch ist das Leben ein bisschen schöner

the only thing that was a little bit of for me was the female narrators voice for the man ...

In die weibliche Stimme musste ich mich erst reinhören, die männliche war problemlos. Story schön, das notwendige retardierende Moment überraschend aber gut. Gelungen.
