Zephrum Gates and the Mysterious Purple Haze is a coming \-of-age story of a tomboyish girl named Zephrum. Zephrum has some powerful abilities that were bestowed upon her at a very young age. Learning to work with her innate and unusual aptitudes is part of her challenge and part of what also makes her so special.

Zephrum is a core player in uncovering the mystery of the “purple haze” that has enveloped her closest town, Haversville. Following clues to uncovering the mystery, Zephrum encounters spiritual beings, strange wind phenomena, fairies, moss folk, goblins, a leprechaun, a very wild horse ride, and the very scary man behind the chair. As she gets closer to solving the mystery of the “purple haze”, a variety of hidden talents reveal themselves to her. 

What do a greedy goblin, a lovesick dragon, and a not-so-helpless girl have in common? From the moment the floating treasure chest appears above the water, this rollicking fairy tale brings us back to the wonderful world of Zephrum Gates. Goblins are at work and are doing their best to restore their nefarious leader to ultimate power. Although Strasidous Rowpe has been reduced to a mere wisp of ether, his malevolent influence continues to inspire goblins...and threaten Zephrum.

What do a goblin fortune teller, a sulking sea monster, bushy-faced pirates, and sneezing baby dragons all have in common? Zephrum Gates, of course! The evil Strasidous Rowpe is at it again. He has merged with a strange and gooey goblin with dark powers to become the most wicked villain, Virgidous. This time, he is sure that he has figured out a way to gain ultimate power over all things - and get rid of Zephrum Gates once and for all.
