  • Poop Balloons Are Funny, Genocide Is Awful | June 5th, 2024
    Jun 6 2024

Luke is back in the saddle with the crew as he's prepping to head to Chicago this weekend. Steve can't stop laughing about the duper balloons that came from North Korea & then gently drifted into South Korean territory. We got your emails! This week we only have one & it's from a Finn Gurrer disciple! When's the last time you thought of Yahoo? Are they dead yet? The fellas ponder which time is the ideal time to drink Pabst Blue Ribbon. Black Rock & Citadel Securities are planning to start their own stock exchange in Texas. It's all about the state you're standing in apparently. The neoliberals, who go by their pen name Democrats, have a new voice working full time now on their behalf: Robert DeNiro. Govier found a new clip from a song with a dumb sounding voice along the lines of Collective Soul & Color Me Badd. Welcome to hell! Election 2024 is ratcheting up which is why Joe Biden tried to get tough on immigration on the Mexican border. Luke has a numerical solution for what Biden can do to get in the good graces of rational human voters. Remember Macklemore!? He's got a new song on the scene called Hind's Hall that was actually brought up by Luke with the message focusing on the Israeli genocide in Palestine. That leads to Govier's memory of Macklemore hanging out with former President Obama for an opioids thingy. Awkward! Steve has an under the radar reminder that is over 200 years old from George Washington who even back in the 1790's had concerns about partisanship in the USA. Did you know Dr. Phil has a new network he's launching called Merit Street Media. The good doctor is here to find the middle ground in mainstream media. Steve does a hilarious impression of that Texas doofus. Have a chuckle when you watch the video of someone throwing a milkshake at Brexit douche Nigel Farage. Everybody is crushed that Bill Walton recently shook off his mortal coil. Steve & Mike are big fans & Steve offers up a tribute with some of Walton's all-time doozies as an NBA broadcaster. We'll miss you Bill! Of course when Walton comes up, so does the Grateful Dead who Walton followed religiously as a concert-goer. Luke wasn't sure if he knew a single song by them which means Luke's mind was ready for some enlightenment on the matter. Steve loves the show Hacks & he wants to know why Govier is watching the prison drama Oz from the early 2000's instead. Luke wants everyone to know that the Netflix show Eric starring Benedict Cumberbatch sucks because he's not from a divorced family. We love you all! This talk show is not the same without you listening and emailing us your highly entertaining thoughts. We close the show with Cowboys Are Frequently Secretly Fond Of Each Other by Orville Peck & Willie Nelson. • You Would Expect There To Be Fewer Micro Plastics In The Testes | May 23rd, 2024
    May 24 2024

No Luke for this one because Mike ran late at work. You get Steve & Govier this time around. Where was cocaine use at in the 1950s? We got your emails! Joe checks in with some possible show title replacement options including a classic crack about Luke's movie passion. Steve has a reminder about the incredible resourcefulness of your local public library. The Trip starring Steve Coogan & Rob Brydon never gets old for the fellas when it comes to Anthony Hopkins & Michael Caine impressions. Mike's first job ever was at a bowling alley & golf range fun place where he had ot be at work picking up golf balls at 6AM. Finn Gurrer emails in to ask which one you got: one bourbon, one scotch or one beer? George Thorogood style. The word is out that there are plenty of micro plastics floating around in the testes of male humans & dogs as well. Welcome to hell. Ticketmaster & Live Nation are finally having their monopoly challenged by the federal government. Eddie Vedder is celebrating today! The guy from Band of Horses is from James Island in the Charleston South Carolina area. Steve has a classic tale about drinking with that dude one night long ago with friend of the show David. Mike is then reminded of when some bars in the Charleston area were open until 5AM which is a terrible idea. Braid & Minus The Bear show tales ensue as well. Steve & Mike recall the summer adventure of witnessing major league baseball underachiever Yoan Moncada live at the Charleston Riverdogs minor league ballpark back in 2015. Steve's frustrated about the foul call disparity in every NBA playoff series the Indiana Pacers are involved in this playoff season. Lastly, Steve shares the name of a fella who is paying attention to how lame Bill Simmons has become now that he's a lazy millionaire. We love you all! This talk show is not the same without you listening and emailing us your highly entertaining thoughts. We close the show with May 16 by Lagwagon. • The Captain Midnight Intrusion | May 16th, 2024
    May 17 2024

Steve is feeling better after his recent illness left him bedridden. Guess how many buzz topics we cram into the first minute of the show? Harrison Butker's anti-feminist message which follows Catholic dogma reminds us that Butker isn't the first idiot kicker in the NFL. Have you seen the Italian gas nozzle ass blaster? It's a real hoot! Patrick Mahomes is trying to hide his Kermit The Frog voice in public. Jerry Seinfeld's newest film Unfrosted isn't high on the watch list for Steve or Luke. Luke is pissed about Jerry Seinfeld's outdated ways. Govier was losing interest in Michigan football back in his 20's, but he didn't see it all the way through. Follow your own voice! What's more depressing? Catholic priest abuse or the Holocaust? We're sorry for forcing you into making choice in this nightmare scenario. Govier recalls the crappy Ford Escort he wanted to buy after his high school graduation, but his friend Brandon ended up buying it with his graduation money. Steve remembers cramming five people into that thing. Did your parents drive an Escort once a upon a time? We got emails! Finn Gurrer must find out how the fellas feel about constipation. Then the back up of backed up tales begins. Govier's second stepdad had crappy issues plus he looked like Gordy from ABC Warehouse. The infamous Jason Rehnlund from high school will always be associated with the NES Tetris music from a song created many moons ago about the man himself & his annoying ways. Steve found a doppelganger for our friend Chad named Professor Green. Bill Burr gave Bill Maher a hard time on Maher's podcast recently and Luke loves it. Remember Gus Macker basketball tourneys? Govier shares memories from all the cars he had as a high schooler. Luke wants everybody to know how funny Sam Morrill is. It's a new episode so of course there is more Israeli/Palestinian rhetoric for you all with still no peace in sight. Shopper's Drug Mart in Toronto wants volunteers to work for free. This is for real. We love you all! This talk show is not the same without you listening and emailing us your highly entertaining thoughts. We close the show with Everything's Ruined by Faith No More.
