The concept of Fate is very interesting

I enjoyed this audiobook so much. it's well written and I love the concept of handfasting.
The rivalry between the woman is not too bitchy like in other book and the protagonist is an independent and grounded woman.
The interactions and trust in Fate is also well written and plausible. Sometimes I think his decisions are somehow cruel but they make sense in the long run. It's quite interesting what he wants to indicate.

Too much "the Bachelor meets the Hunger Games"

The story itself is good, some nice twists, enjoyable characters. But the side story of the TV show just reminds me too much of "the Bachelor" and the division of the empire into sectors copies totally "the Hunger Games" in my opinion.
Plus: I really don't like how the narrator speaks the male voices: they all sound like an 80 years old woman.
