Waypoints
Waypoints- es ist ein Vergnügen, zu zuhören. Wie auch im Buch, gibt viel in, zwischen und hinter den Zeilen zu lesen/höre/ entdecken. Es ist sehr kurzweilig und mich hat es an manchen Stellen eingeladen über mich nachzudenken.

A Must for Outlander fans who love hiking
If you enjoy hiking or walking and the series Outlander this is the perfect audiobook for you. Go on a mindful yet funny journey with him and get to know the person behind the actor/ character a little better. I just loved the book and the way of narrating.

Great book, love it
I loved this book, written an read by Sam Heughan. In it he shares his life path, how he came to be the man he is now. The book is fun and I loved both- the story of his Scottish travel & the story of his live. There were so many moments, in which I could recognize myself… so I truly want to thank Sam for sharing his thoughts and emotions with us in such an authentic, relaxed and self- ironic way. Thank you Sam, wish you all the best for you life!

Beeindruckend gelesen!
Beeindruckende und durch eine Schauspielerausbildung perfektionierte Lesestimme (ja, auch sexy), die einen in den Bann zieht. Lebendiger und lebenslustiger Hauptcharakter, das Audiobook macht gute Laune beim Zuhören und gibt einen guten Einblick in eine Schauspielerexistenz.

Absolutely thrilled ….
This lads voice and his stories have been really touching and awakened some of my deep longings in my soul with a big pinch of humour.
I was remined of my own interests and joyful moments in my childhood and my youth.
I recall the deep joy of dancing, as well as being a part of theatre pieces all my childhood up to the early years at University. And last but not least the experiencing of physical activities in the nature with all it brings with it on long walks.
Also, the mentioning of so many places and stories in and about Scotland brought back so intense memoires of my several travels and walks through Scotland over the last 30 years - I can't tell how glad I am, that this year after quite a few years finally I will go back - visiting again a widening and breathtaking place for my soul - I must have missed it quite strongly. Thanks, Sam, for this book and this reading. It helped me making this more palpable.
I laughed out loud so many times - even with tears in my eyes - over his humorous way. He has really „den Schalk im Nacken sitzen“, spiced with a big amount of funny imagination. I might never stop looking at mushrooms anymore without wondering, to what they are up to and where they might heading to.
He really took me with him on this long-distance walk, as promised at the beginning of the book. I didn't feel lonely for many hours but felt being in good company by listening to his stories, his descriptions, his views onto live.
Honestly, listening to Sam Hueghan was a surprisingly joyful time spent. Thank you!
