Well in Clancy‘s tradition, better than many of the newer Campus line
A time travel back to the 80ies with the original Jack and some of his later entourage including John Clark. The then East German GDR depressingly well depicted, and a story probable enough for cold war times.
I find the reading over-emphasizes too often. Here, less would be more.
