Ok action, not Tom Clancy worthy

Jack jr. in an ok thriller. Not really with a Campus feel, unfortunately. But was the author sponsored or what is the reason for the totally over the top product placements? Google, Uber, iPad, iPod, and the complete unnecessary bit about the stupid pen. A whole conversation about the pen between the main characters. Ballpoint or fountain?... Not as good as earlier Jack Ryan novels, but ok for a plane trip.

lesenswert

ich finde, mit diesem Titel ist eine würdige Fortsetzung der Jack Ryan jr Serie gelungen. an manchen Stellen etwas flach, an anderen dafür wieder so packend, dass man nicht auf Pause drücken möchte.

von meiner Seite deshalb eine klare Hörempfehlung!

The worst so far ....

The plot is extremely weak, or rather non existing.
To me, the book feels like a series of loosely connected action scenes, tech show-off and stereotypical characters, acting and making stupid decisions.

This is the last time I am getting a Jack Ryan novel as soon as it comes out. Next time I will wait for more reviews.
