Spannend, unerwartete Wendungen, Hörgenuss
Das Hörbuch war so fesselnd, dass ich kaum die Pause-Taste drücken mochte. Die Geschichte nimmt mit, nimmt unerwartete Wendungen, wundervoll gelesen von Anna Rust. Ein Genuss!

mood killer
I was looking for a romantic light novel to listen to during the christmas season. I am 3 hours into the book and so far nothing romantic has happened. The story describes the life of a single mother (which is not very uplifting to begin with), her having left behind a life that she obviously misses and is now bored with her current life. There is some mystery as it isn't clear who the father is and then there is the talk about her life as a war photographer...this part is described so much in detail that it is really hard to stay in a good mood. The bombing, the screaming, the wounds, the fear, the nightmares...I could go on but I won't. Bottom line, there is NOTHING romantic and certainly nothing light about this story. All it really did is desillusion me, bring me down (during the holidays) and burden me. I actually had to stop listening to it because I just couldn't bear it anymore. Sorry, don't want to spoil the book for anyone...just being honest to the readers who were looking for the same kind of book as me and might be disappointed in this one.
