Diving into the times of Earls, Kings & Cathedrals
Very interesting story depicting of the political ties and their interconnectivity.

Fantastic history
I had zero expectations.I only listened to it because friends recommendation, but I loved it. Great history, it brings you back to the time, the culture, people's believes and complex political relationship between the church, the king and towns. There are several unexpected turnaround in the history which make it very intriguing.

just a classic
Pillars of the earth is such an interestingly written novel about a subject that I was never really interested in. Carries over the passion about cathedrals tho.

Ich bin begeistert! A legendary masterpiece!
Dieser mitreißende historische Roman verführt in die authentische Welt des frühen Mittelalters. Das Englisch ist dank einer einfachen Klarheit des grandiosen Sprechers John Lee gut zu verstehen, weshalb ich dieses Hörbuch im Original nur empfehlen kann. Die 40 Stunden gehen schneller als erwartet vorüber!

Absolutely spellbinding book
What a great story about the lifes of people in the Middle Ages, some of them good, some of them evil. This is a highly entertaining book which is hard to put down ....
